Harley-Davidson will host its Homecoming Festival from Thursday, July 13, to Sunday, July 16, which could result in traffic disruptions in the Menomonee River Valley and near campus.
The Harley-Davidson Museum plans to keep all streets around the museum open during the festival. Only if overflow parking is needed will surrounding streets experience a change. If overflow parking is required, motorcycle-only curb parking areas will exist on Canal Street between 6th Street to Emmber Lane; and 6th Street from the round-a-bout to 6th & Canal Street.
The motorcycle parade will take place on July 16, with public viewing from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wisconsin Avenue will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in both directions.
Truck traffic is advised to avoid 6th Street for a smooth commute.
