Voting for Marquette University’s Staff Senate is open now through 5 p.m. on Friday, June 30.
There are two openings for an academic senator and two for an administrative senator. In addition, there is an open University Academic Senate (UAS) position; this role can only be filled by an academic staff member whose line reports up through the Provost’s Office. This individual will be a voting member of UAS and can be — but is not required to be — a member of USS.
University Staff Senate is a group of elected individuals who represent Marquette staff so that their views and interests may be considered, alongside those of faculty and students, in the conduct of institutional affairs that affect life in the workplace and in the advancement of the university’s mission.
