The campus community is invited to celebrate the men’s golf team as it departs for its NCAA Championship regional on Friday, May 12. Fans should line up on 12th Street near the northeast corner of the Athletic and Human Performance Research Center by 8:15 a.m. to cheer on the team as it exits.
Marquette, making its fifth regional appearance and first since 2019, will compete at the Auburn, Alabama, regional hosted at Auburn University Club from May 15-17. The Golden Eagles, a No. 10 seed, earned an automatic qualifier to regional play thanks to the team’s BIG EAST Championship victory in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
