Lubar Center’s Get to Know with Dale Kooyenga, April 25

Join the Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 a.m. in Eckstein Hall for a new program, “Get to Know.” Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will welcome Dale Kooyenga, senior vice president of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, as the first guest in the series.

Kooyenga joined the MMAC in January in a newly created position. He served in the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly for 11 years, representing the western suburbs of Milwaukee.

Kooyenga also serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves, is a certified public accountant, and has worked as a chief financial officer for several local companies.

As Mosley explains, the “Get to Know” series is intended to be “more late-night talk show than Meet the Press.” The program will include coffee, conversation and community in Eckstein Hall. Register online to attend.
