Dr. Mariana Ortega, the 2022-23 Association of Marquette University Women (AMUW) Women’s Chair in Humanistic Studies, will present the Distinguished Eleanor H. Boheim Lecture on Wednesday, April 19, at 5:30 p.m. (6 p.m. lecture) in the Raynor Memorial Libraries Beaumier Suites.
In her lecture, “Spilling Herself in Trees, Autoarte and Laura Aguilar’s Carnal Aesthetics,” she will explore the relational process of self-mapping that opens possibilities for self-naming and transformation.
