April common read: ‘All We Can Save’

April 11, 2023

For Earth Month, members of the Marquette community are invited to participate in a common read of “All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis,” an anthology edited by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, a marine biologist, and Dr. Katherine K. Wilkinson, an author and teacher.

The collection’s essays and poems amplify the voices of women at the forefront of climate action —writers, scientists, policy-makers and others — as they shine light not only on the urgency of climate change but also paths that we can follow to a better future.

Two opportunities to gather and discuss the book are set for Monday, April 24, (in person) and Tuesday, April 25 (virtual). The first 10 Marquette community members to RSVP for the discussions will receive a complimentary copy of the book. The common read is hosted by the Sustainable Marquette ERG.

RSVP and learn more about the common read on the event website.
