Physical therapy professor speaking at D.C. breakfast

Dr. Jacob Capin, assistant professor of physical therapy in the College of Health Sciences and director of the Life After Sport Trajectories (LAST) Lab, will speak about his research during a breakfast on Thursday, March 30, in Washington, D.C. 

Capin will be a part of a panel discussing federal dollars boosting Wisconsin-based research. He will be joined by Dr. Stephanie Diem, assistant professor of engineering physics at UW-Madison, and Dr. Michele Polfuss, associate professor in the UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing. 

The event, taking place at the Hall of the States on Capitol Hill, will also feature U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan from the Madison-area’s 2nd Congressional District.
