Wednesday, Feb. 22, is Ash Wednesday, the start of this year’s season of Lent. Christians mark the start of their Lenten disciplines of prayer, fasting and almsgiving by receiving ashes upon their foreheads — the mark of conversion of heart.
Campus Ministry will be offering a variety of services on Ash Wednesday. All are welcome to participate; you do not need to be Catholic to receive ashes.
Roman Catholic Mass with Imposition of Ashes
7:15 a.m. — Chapel of the Holy Family
8:30 a.m. — Chapel of the Holy Family
12 noon — Chapel of the Holy Family
10:00 p.m. — St. Joan of Arc Chapel
Ecumenical Services with Imposition of Ashes
4:00 p.m. — Chapel of the Holy Family
7:30 p.m. — Chapel of the Holy Family (part of the weekly Ignite Program)
