The Pedro Arrupe Award is an honorary award for a junior in good standing and enrolled on a full-time basis who emulates the values and ideals of Rev. Pedro Arrupe, S.J., and is involved in leadership and service in and beyond the Marquette community.
Faculty/staff nomination is required along with a student application and essay. The nomination/application deadline is Monday, March 20.
Father Arrupe was the Superior General of the Society of Jesus from 1965 to 1981. He was a man of simplicity, warmth and optimism who became known as a “man for others.” He lived a life committed to serving the poor and led others to explore the link between faith and justice.
