Marquette Business spring career fair and Inclusivity at Work luncheon, Feb. 15

February 8, 2023

The College of Business Administration will host an Inclusivity at Work luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in O’Brien Hall 417, followed by the spring career and internship fair for undergraduates, graduate students and alumni from 3 to 6 p.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.

Representatives from PNC Financial Services, Baird, Kohl’s, ManpowerGroup and RSM will visit O’Brien Hall to speak about their organizations’ commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion. Students will have networking time with guests after the presentation and the opportunity to grab free food.

Later, more than 80 employers from around the area will attend the internship and career fair. Student attendees are encouraged to review the list of employers on Handshake and follow ones they are interested in getting to know prior to attending the fair. The college also encourages those attending to have an up-to-date resume uploaded on Handshake as well as multiple physical copies to hand out at the event.

Professional attire is expected. Dress pants, collared shirts, suit jackets, sweaters and skirts are all considered positive attire options.

Attendees can follow up with employers and apply for jobs with them on Handshake afterward.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged; students who do so by Friday, Feb. 10, at 8 a.m. may opt into a resume book that will be shared ahead of time with sponsoring employers. Those who register after Feb. 10 will still have the opportunity to be included in a resume book sent out after the event.

Hannah Lubar, director of the Business Career Center, can answer any questions; her email address is Hannah.Lubar@marquette.edu. Students can also sign up for individual appointments in the center via Handshake.
