Ph.D. candidate speaks on the history of hip-hop at Graham Public Library, Feb. 6

To celebrate Black History Month, Holly Burgess, a Ph.D. candidate in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of English, will give an invited lecture on the history of hip-hop on Monday, Feb. 6, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Graham Public Library in Union Grove. 

Registration is not required. Learn more about the history of hip-hop music and culture, as well as its role in political activism from The Black Power Movement to the present day. This event is open to teens and adults.
