New web page centralizes participating faculty policies, resources, funding and award opportunities

When the Participating Faculty Task Force was created in 2019, the task force collected qualitative and quantitative data on the lived experience of participating faculty at Marquette, including: listening lunches with participating faculty; an anonymous online questionnaire; and an analysis of policies and procedures associated with the participating faculty experience across all of Marquette’s colleges and schools.

One recommendation from the feedback was to better standardize and make accessible the policies and resources for participating faculty. The task force has centralized this information on the Office of the Provost website. It is also linked from the Participating Faculty website. The page includes links to policies, resources, and funding and award opportunities for participating (non-tenure-track) faculty at Marquette. It also includes recommendations on onboarding and mentoring practices for participating faculty, which were developed by Marquette’s Participating Faculty Task Force and shared with each college and school.
