The Comet Project is a student-run ensemble sponsored by Marquette University Players Society that presents monthly shows called “A Wacky Walk Down the Driveway” throughout the school year featuring 30 plays in 60 minutes.
The Comet Project will present shows on Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Straz Tower Theatre. Admission is free. RSVP on the Comet Project website.
Inspired by the Neo-futurists in Chicago, the Comet Project writes, blocks, directs and performs 30 plays each show all focused on honesty, brevity and wit.
With a clock onstage counting down from 60 minutes, actors onstage scramble to perform plays that range from hilarious to heart-wrenching.
