Beyond MU webinar ‘Fostering Nurse Resilience and Well-being,’ Nov 16

Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “Fostering Nurse Resilience and Well-being” on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at noon.

While the pandemic has emphasized the importance of a strong nursing workforce, it has also affected nurses’ well-being with higher levels of burnout, anxiety, depression and moral distress.

Join to hear about how these realities are impacting the nursing workforce and how Marquette alumni in healthcare organizations are implementing interventions to meet these challenges.

Get a glimpse of how the College of Nursing and the future first-class facility in Straz Hall are working to address these challenges as we prepare the Marquette Nurse.

The webinar will feature:

  • Jill Guttormson, Ph.D., MS, RN, dean of the College of Nursing
  • Nancy Korom, Grad ’93, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, vice president and chief nursing officer of Children’s Wisconsin
