Domestic violence is prevalent in every neighborhood and affects people regardless of age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, race or nationality.
This month, the Near West Side Partners’ Promoting Assets and Reducing Crime team is partnering with on-campus and community stakeholders to raise awareness of and prevent domestic violence by providing resources, support and violent relationship identification strategies to students and the wider community.
On Thursday, Oct. 20, wear purple to stand with victims and hold abusers accountable.
