Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to nominate one or more candidates for the Faculty and Staff Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards. The nomination deadline is Thursday, Dec. 1.
These awards are given to full-time faculty and staff members who demonstrate exemplary leadership and manifest ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion through practical action.
Examples include student-centered inclusion initiatives; efforts to support recruitment and retention of diverse faculty, staff and students; teaching and research that expands and embraces our understanding of inclusiveness; multicultural programming or related initiatives; and addressing issues found in the Campus Climate Study results.
