Raynor Memorial Libraries is hosting a food drive to benefit Marquette’s Backpack Program from Monday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 11.
Members of the Marquette community are invited to donate non-perishable food items — such as soup cans, fruit cups, juice packs, and crackers — at collection bins in the library lobby. Cash gifts are also welcome via the program’s online donation page.
All donations will support current Marquette students who are struggling with food insecurity.
Marquette’s Backpack Program is a free, confidential service that provides groceries to any Marquette student having difficulty accessing affordable, nutritious food and other household essentials.
Questions about the food drive can be directed to Liz Wawrzyniak.
