Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled “Ignatian Indifference: Caring Deeply While Holding Loosely” on Thursday, Nov. 10, at noon.
Through his Spiritual Exercises, St. Ignatius helps us reimagine “indifference” as a stance towards our lives that leads to a sense of healthy detachment from those things and people that may interfere with our primary attachment and love for and with God. This change of mindset helps us to discern through wise decision-making how to love and care most deeply while remaining free from those disordered attachments that distract and keep us from loving and following God first.
Please join Dr. Kathy Coffey-Guenther, senior advancement officer for alumni spirituality, for a lively conversation on this challenging invitation to inner freedom and deepening love and faith posed to us by St. Ignatius. How do we care deeply while also holding loosely?
Registrants will receive optional pre-reading material prior to the webinar.
