The 2022 Summary Plan Description (SPD) is now available on the new Human Resources site under Policies, Forms and Notices. This annual notice describes the deductibles, coinsurance and eligibility requirements of the medical plans as well as information about prescription drug benefits through Navitus and Tria Health.
Additionally, as of Friday, Aug. 19, UMR updated their digital platforms to support a new, streamlined secure messaging experience with their secure member portal login process to HealthSafe ID (HSID). These updates were made to stay up-to-date with the latest security protocols and user experience. As a result, registered users will no longer be able to use their current login as of that date.
- The new Message Center allows plan members to send and receive messages and associated documents to and from UMR while logged in to the portals. Users will be notified by email any time a new message is available for them to view in their message center.
- The platform upgrade will offer a simpler, more integrated user experience, while ensuring secure delivery of messages containing personal identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI). It makes it easier for users to submit related documentation for review by UMR.
- HealthSafe ID enables a secure, single sign-on with multi-factor authentication, high levels of PHI and HIPAA security, consumer alerts and notifications. The new login and registration process will go into effect for all member users on August 19.
