The Office of the Provost is now accepting applications for tenure buyout for eligible full-time tenured faculty. The deadline to apply for both immediate buyout (spring 2023) and two-year phased buyout (spring 2025) is Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 4:30 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.
The tenure buyout policy can be found on the provost’s website.
All applications must be completed in DocuSign. To begin the application process, complete the Tenure Buyout Policy Inquiry Form.
Information sessions regarding tenure buyout and retirement will be held by Sally Doyle, Office of the Provost, on the following days and times:
In person (Zilber Hall 470)
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 3:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 8 a.m.
- Monday, Nov. 7, at 2:15 p.m.
Online (Microsoft Teams)
- Friday, Nov. 4, at 9 a.m. (send an email to Doyle to register)
Doyle will be available for individual questions following each session.
