Employees who have not completed diversity and inclusion program to be enrolled for fall 2022

An icon graphic representing A Culture of Inclusion from the Beyond Boundries Strategic PlanAs previously announced in Marquette Today, Marquette has rolled out “Faculty and Staff: Personal Skills for a Diverse Campus,” a required online diversity, equity and inclusion learning program for all faculty and staff.

All active Marquette employees who have not yet completed the three-module course, including new faculty and staff, will be enrolled for the fall 2022 semester.

There are three modules that take approximately 30 minutes (Engagement with Diversity), 60 minutes (Communication for Inclusion) and 60 minutes (The Influence of Unconscious Bias) to complete. Progress will not be saved until the conclusion of each module, so we recommend that users devote enough time to complete each module of the course in one sitting. Employees who have previously completed one or two of the modules will not have to re-take those portions of the course. The modules will remain available until Wednesday, Nov. 30.

If you have not yet completed the course, you will receive an email message from Safe Colleges in the coming days with a link and login instructions to access the program. A set of frequently asked questions is available online.
