Join the Center for Data, Ethics, and Society and the Center for Cyber Security Awareness and Cyber Defense for a symposium on ethical hacking on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to noon as part of October Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The event, hosted in the AMU’s Lunda Room, will feature a morning of conversations and networking on ethical hacking and the importance of teaching cybersecurity concepts as a foundational component of all computing and information professionals’ training.
The featured presentation is “Teaching and Leading with a Security-First Mindset” by Olivia Liddell, solutions architect at Amazon Web Services and a certified ethical hacker.
Panels featuring ethical hacking practitioners and educators will follow.
