Celebrate women’s excellence with Marquette Athletics, Oct. 7

Marquette Athletics is hosting a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7:30 a.m. in the Wisconsin Club Ballroom. The event will feature BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman as the keynote speaker alongside three prominent alumnae panelists. They will discuss the challenges faced, lessons learned and keys to success that have led to their roles as female leaders in their industries.

Register online by Friday, Sept. 30, to attend. Registration is $30 per individual and includes breakfast, coffee, juice and a non-refundable, tax-deductible gift to a women’s excellence fund of choice benefiting the growth of female sports through Marquette’s “Time to Rise: Elevating Excellence in Women’s Athletics” initiative.
