Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX with Marquette’s Institute for Women’s Leadership 

An icon graphic representing A Culture of Inclusion from the Beyond Boundries Strategic PlanMarquette’s Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWL) is hosting a panel discussion and IWL research social to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the AMU Lunda Room and Innovation Kitchen. 

The discussion titled, “Title IX: reflecting on 50 years and what’s to come” will discuss what Title IX has achieved and possibilities for the future.  

The panel of experts will include Marquette Women’s Basketball Head Coach Megan Duffy; Marquette Title IX Coordinator Kristen Kreple, J.D.; administration law & legal history expert at Marquette University Kali Murray, M.A., J.D.; and historian Dr. Jeff Ramsey. Dr. Chris Navia, vice president of inclusive excellence, will moderate. 

The panel will be followed by opportunities to mingle and network with panelists and other attendees.
