Join the Near West Side Partners for a Community Clean-up at Tiefenthaler Park (N. 27th Street and Cherry Street) on Saturday, June 4. The event begins at 10 a.m.
Garbage bags, trash grabbers and gloves will be provided. Volunteers will be divided into teams to clean up sections of the neighborhood. A car will be helpful to get you to your cleanup location.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
The event at Tiefenthaler Park is the first of three upcoming NWSP Community Clean-ups. Volunteers are also needed for Saturday, Aug. 6, (Vliet Street Oasis Market) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturday, Sept. 10, (Washington Park) from 9 a.m. to noon.
