The annual Poker Walk and Run will take place on Wednesday, June 1, at noon in Central Mall. Prizes will be awarded to the top poker hands and all registered participants will be eligible for giveaways.
The event was rescheduled from its original date of May 25 due to the weather forecast.
Registration will take place at the event beginning at noon. The walk/run is staged around the Marquette Mile (the perimeter of campus).
The Poker Walk/Run coincides with the Walk This Way Challenge, an opportunity to earn My Rewards Points through the My Wellness Portal. Marquette employees and their spouses can participate in this challenge that encourages fitness through walking. The goal is to walk at least 50,000 steps per week for a total of 200,000 steps from May 16 to June 19.
