The President’s Task Force on Community Safety launched a new website to share relevant information related to its mission, membership, workgroup foci and news resulting from task force initiatives. The Safety Task Force will reconvene next week Monday, March 28, when all five workgroups will present 30-day and 60-day recommendations for consideration and discussion. When tested for feasibility and approved, final recommendations will be published on the Safety Task Force website and shared in Marquette Today.
As workgroups evaluate actionable, lasting safety and security solutions, the task force welcomes feedback and ideas from the Marquette and local communities that can spark more creativity or help refine strategies already in discussion. The new website offers a quick way for anyone to submit an idea to be routed to task force leadership and the appropriate workgroup for consideration.
