The College of Business Administration will present Helen Johnson-Leipold, chief executive officer of Johnson Outdoors Inc. and chairman of Johnson Financial Group, as part of its June and Herman Loebl Women Business Leaders Speaker Series Tuesday, April 12, at 4:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union Monaghan Ballroom, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Johnson-Leipold will present “Purpose, Values and People: The Cornerstones of a Legacy of Business Success.” Registration for the event is free, open to the public and available online.
Johnson-Leipold is a corporate leader with nearly four decades of experience in business transformation. She leads Johnson Outdoors, a publicly traded outdoor recreation equipment company and is the chairman of Johnson Financial Group, one of the nation’s largest private financial services companies, and, The Johnson Foundation, a nationally recognized center of collaboration and catalyst for solutions to a better tomorrow. She became chairman and CEO of Johnson Outdoors in 1999. Johnson Outdoors is now a leader in the Outdoor Equipment Industry, with a portfolio of iconic outdoor equipment brands, and shareholder value has more than quadrupled during her tenure.
