‘COVID-19 Discussion Series: The Unrecognized Labor that Keeps Us Afloat’ is March 3

The Center for the Advancement of the Humanities will host the next installment of its COVID-19 discussion series, “The Unrecognized Labor that Keeps Us Afloat,” virtually on Thursday, March 3, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

This seminar invites the Marquette community to reflect on the historical inequalities that make certain populations more vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic and on the future challenges these populations might face as a result of the pandemic. The discussion series brings together Marquette faculty whose research focuses on the intersections of poverty, race, gender, and issues related to discrimination, labor and health.
