Campus Ministry to host free Lenten meatless meal sampling April 1

Campus Ministry invites students, faculty and staff to sample meatless meals featured in the Catholic Relief Services Lenten Recipes Guide on Friday, April 1, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union.

Enjoy foods from around the world, explore the environmental and religious benefits of making meatless meals a regular dietary feature and learn more about prayer, fasting and almsgiving during Lent.

Catholic Relief Services is the Catholic Church in the United States’ official outreach to the poor and vulnerable around the world. It is part of the worldwide network making up Caritas Internationalis.

This event is free. Those interested in donating to Catholic Relief Services to support the people of Ukraine are encouraged to do so online.

With questions, contact Steve Blaha, assistant director of Campus Ministry.
