Beyond MU: ‘St. Patrick’s Day: A History of Craic and Slainte Across the Globe’ is March 15

Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a virtual webinar titled “St. Patrick’s Day: A History of Craic and Slainte Across the Globe,” on Tuesday, March 15, at noon.  

St. Patrick’s Day has evolved from a religious holiday in Ireland to a cultural celebration across the globe. In this webinar, hear from Dr. Tim McMahon, associate professor of history in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, about the history of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland and the United States.

Join to discover lesser-known traditions to incorporate into your festivities or to learn some new facts to share with your friends at your St. Patrick’s Day gathering.
