For employees, spouses and dependents on one of Marquette University’s three medical plans, your benefit for receiving different types of vaccinations got easier and even more convenient. In addition to coverage under the UMR medical networks, Marquette and Navitus are offering vaccine services through your pharmacy benefit as another way to help you maintain good health. The advantage is that members can receive vaccinations without needing to pay for an office visit.
Call your preferred network pharmacy prior to visiting to make sure the pharmacists on staff are certified to give a vaccine and to find out if you are required to bring a prescription. Remember to bring your insurance ID card. Visit the member portal on the Navitus website to find the preferred network pharmacies near you.
