Umoja: Black Living Learning Community accepting applications

For second-year students, priority application for is March 11 and all applications are due March 20. First-year students should select Carpenter as your building preference and Umoja LLC and your preferred room type when you complete your housing preference online by May 1. No additional application is required.

Umoja seeks to create a space for Black students across the diaspora to come together and form a community. Umoja intends to be an inclusive and welcoming environment for all those who value the Black community, culture and identities and are interested in learning and engaging around these values.

Both first-year and second-year students live together in Carpenter Tower and participate in classes, retreats and events together.
