The Center for Community Service will host “Sample the Soups” in support of Marquette’s Community Day of Service on Thursday, March 3, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in AMU 163.
Students and staff will gather to enjoy soup donated from Sodexo, take home hand-crafted bowls made by Milwaukee community members and begin registering for Community Day of Service. Donations of $5 are suggested, and all proceeds will go towards various organizations that are partnered with the Center for Community Service.
Marquette Community Day of Service, formerly known as Hunger Clean-Up, features members of the campus community coming together to serve at various non-profit organizations all around Milwaukee. In addition to this, the event also raises money to donate to these non-profit organizations.
Faculty, staff, students and alumni are welcome to attend this event and support our cause.
