‘Marquette’s Listening: Student Voices on Faith, Campus Life, & Beyond’ is March 1

An icon graphic representing the Formation of Hearts and Minds from the Beyond Boundries Strategic PlanCampus Ministry will host a discussion, with responses being shared with Pope Francis, on Tuesday, March 1, from noon to 1 p.m. in AMU 227. Francis hopes to hear from all college students on what matters in life, your experiences of Church and your hopes for the future.

Gather for a facilitated lunchtime conversation with fellow Marquette students on these topics. Students of all religious affiliations are welcome and encouraged to participate. Feedback gathered in round table conversations will help campus and be shared with Francis and other Church leaders in guiding the Catholic Church.

This program is part of Marquette’s involvement in the #listeningchurch project, also known as the worldwide Synod on Synodality, being led by Francis.

The goal of Marquette’s participation in the #listeningchurch project is to welcome students to share with peers and others in the Church what is important to them in life, express their experiences of Church and identify their hopes for the future. Reflections gathered from around the world are part of a process of discernment guiding the Catholic Church.

Marquette students will enjoy a free New Orleans-style Mardi Gras lunch. No RSVP is needed. Limited catering is available.
