The Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) is hosting a Mission Week Bistro Night on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the AMU’s Lunda Room. Students will receive a free Italian buffet dinner while joining fellow students in conversation at Ignite as current Jesuit Volunteers in Milwaukee reflect on what they have learned about generosity, solidarity and living with openness to possibilities while serving in Milwaukee.
JVC is a national full-time post-grad volunteer service program working to build a more just world. Volunteers work full-time accompanying people on the margins and live simply, forming a community inspired by Ignatian spirituality.
No RSVP is needed. Limited seating and catering will be available. Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available.
This event will also be livestreamed on Instagram.
Ignite features engaging speakers who explore questions of faith and living a faith that does justice, creates a vibrant and welcoming student community and space for prayer and reflection.
