Dreamers Gala donations will be matched up to $25,000 through March 8

Culture of Inclusion

Seven years ago, a dedicated group of students and staff came together to create a scholarship to help ease the financial burden for undocumented students at Marquette University. These students launched the inaugural Dreamers Gala to raise funds and help establish the Ignacio Ellacuría, S.J., Dreamer’s Scholarship.

This year, the gala will continue to build on the legacy of those student organizers with a celebration of our Dreamers on Friday, March 25.

This year’s theme, “We Will Rise Up”, recognizes the resilience and perseverance of our Dreamers during a year filled with trials and highlights our stance of solidarity with them as we work toward a more just future.

In celebration of Give Marquette Day, Dreamers Gala registrations and gifts to the Ignacio Ellacuria, S.J., Dreamer’s Endowed Scholarship will be matched by a generous donor, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.

Though the campaign will open on March 8, you can register for the gala here or give your gift early and double your impact.
