Marquette University mourns the loss of Dr. Alan Lacy, professor of German (Emeritus) and former chair of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, who passed away on Jan. 14. Alan retired in 2011 after a long career at Marquette.
A service was held on Friday in Summerville, S.C. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Alan’s name to the Marquette University German Excellence Fund.
