The Department of Human Resources and Office of Finance will move from their offices in David A. Straz Tower to new space in the 313 Building (313 N. 13th St.), also the home of IT Services. The move will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 12, with the affected employees expected to be fully relocated by Thursday, Jan. 13.
No significant interruptions to Human Resources or university financial operations are expected during the transition; however, Marquette employees are asked for their patience during this time.
The move is part of campus space optimization efforts as called for in the university’s Campus Master Plan and Sustainability of Valuable Resources goal in the Beyond Boundaries strategic plan. There are no immediate plans to reoccupy the Straz Tower space; university leaders will consider its best use as space optimization work continues.
