The Marquette community is invited to a prayer service commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The service will be held virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Participants will be invited to reflect on the words of King and other civil rights leaders, which will be read aloud by fellow members of the Marquette community. The readings will be interspersed with music and prayer.
The service can be viewed on YouTube. Contact Elisa Coghlan at elisa.coghlan@marquette.edu with any questions.
The prayer service is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, Raynor Memorial Libraries, the Office of Mission and Ministry, Campus Ministry, the Center for Peacemaking and the Department of English.
