Join spring ‘Making Marquette Inclusive’ discussion series

Culture of Inclusion

The “Making Marquette Inclusive” discussion series has facilitators available for several additional spring cohorts. This 10-week program provides Marquette employees with the opportunity to examine issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as they relate to our day-to-day work on this campus and to reinforce the value of working across differences.

Through a robust curriculum consisting of articles, videos and facilitated conversations, participants in this mini-course explore themes such as implicit bias, privilege, microaggressions, the promotion of equity and effective dialogue orientations. Participants have the opportunity to reflect upon the relevance of these topics to their own lives, discuss with colleagues and apply the concepts to their work in an action-oriented framework. Read more about the development and impact of this program here.

Office units and departments are encouraged to engage in this series as cohorts. Please contact Jacki Black at jacqueline.black@marquette.edu for more information.
