The University Staff Senate and Center for Teaching and Learning encourage the campus community to participate in this year’s Holiday Giving Tree, which provides gifts for those who might otherwise not receive anything for Christmas. By making a financial gift to United Way’s Holiday Giving Tree program, United Way is able to mobilize gifts to the community while supporting small, local businesses.
For the safety of volunteers, families, staff and the Marquette community, the Holiday Giving Tree effort will be held virtually again this year.
Each donation of $30 will be used to purchase and directly ship requested gifts to the participating nonprofits.
Please consider donating or writing a note of holiday cheer online by Friday, Dec. 3. These Holiday Cheer notes will be distributed to community members alongside gifts this holiday season.
With questions, contact Karina Mendoza, office assistant in the Center for Teaching and Learning.
