The Career Services Center invites first-generation college students to attend an evening of storytelling and conversation with fellow first-gen faculty, staff, alumni and employer guests on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the AMU, Lunda Room.
Attendees will hear and share stories of their successes and challenges as members of the first-gen campus community and connect their degree to the world of work by meeting employers committed to hiring diverse talent. First-year through graduate students from all programs are encouraged to attend.
Light food and refreshments will be served courtesy of the Kohl’s Corporation.
