2022 Annual Benefits Enrollment ends today at 4 p.m.

November 8, 2021

As shared previously, 2022 Annual Benefits Enrollment ends today, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m.

Annual Enrollment is the only time of year faculty and staff can make changes to their benefit elections.

All employees are strongly encouraged to enroll, change or waive benefits for 2022.

Employees who wish to change existing health insurance plans, coverage levels or enroll/re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or Health Savings Account (HSA) program(s) must complete the enrollment process during this period. Employees in the Employee + Spouse Tier or Family Tier must recertify their spouse’s access status to other medical coverage to avoid the $100/month spousal surcharge.

The Annual Benefits Enrollment Guide includes important updates to Marquette’s 2022 benefits. A link to an online presentation and FAQs is also available on the Human Resources website.

There are two ways to enroll:

  1. Self-enroll online.
  2. Schedule a confidential, 30-minute phone appointment with a benefits educator, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Visit MarquetteBenefitsEnrollment.com
    • Call (877) 759-7668
    • IMPORTANT: If faculty and staff are enrolling any new dependents (spouses and/or children) in the Marquette medical, dental or vision plans, they must have their Social Security Number and date of birth information available. They will also need to upload a copy of the marriage certificate and/or adoption/birth certificate for these dependents in the online enrollment tool by Monday, Nov. 8. Note: Do not re-upload certificates that were previously uploaded (during last year’s enrollment process).

If you do nothing, your elections for 2022 will default as follows:

Coverage  2022 default if you do not decide to make a change
Medical   Your 2021 Plan Election and Covered Members; if you are covering a spouse, the $100 monthly spousal surcharge will apply unless you complete the 2022 spousal surcharge wavier
Dental   Your 2021 Plan Election and Covered Members
Vision   Your 2021 Plan Election and Covered Members
Flexible Spending Account for Health Care  $0 as you are required to re-enroll each plan year
Flexible Spending Account for Dependent Care  $0 as you are required to re-enroll each plan year
Health Savings Account   $0 as you are required to re-enroll each plan year
