2022-23 tuition, room and board rate changes announced

2019 Fall Campus

Balancing the cost of tuition with delivering our students a world-class, transformative Catholic, Jesuit education is a top priority for us. We know the financial decisions Marquette families must make, and we understand and appreciate the ongoing economic concerns that are part of our changing world.

Undergraduate tuition and room and board rates

To that end, we have thoughtfully considered changes to our tuition rate. The Marquette University Board of Trustees approved a 2% undergraduate tuition increase for the 2022-23 academic year, bringing undergraduate tuition to $45,860.

Room and board rates will increase by 3.5% for the 2022-23 academic year to account for the increasing costs of food products and operating and maintaining residence facilities. Please visit marquette.edu/central for a complete listing of room and board rates and student fees.

Marquette leaders will continue to explore new and more efficient ways to manage costs, grow revenue streams and steward the university’s resources to best serve our students, the world around us and the greater glory of God. Knowing where your money goes is key to understanding the true value of your Marquette education. A breakdown of how the average tuition dollar is used can be found at marquette.edu/value.

Families that currently receive federal financial aid should complete the FAFSA form by Jan. 15, 2022, to ensure they are receiving all eligible aid. Please contact Marquette Central at (414) 288-4000 with any questions about the financial aid renewal process.
