New cybersecurity awareness education training required for all faculty and staff

As part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, IT Services has partnered with the SANS Institute and SAP Litmos to provide a new cybersecurity awareness education platform for all Marquette University faculty and staff.

This platform offers tips on how to keep data, devices, and accounts secure. Topics include recognizing social engineering, browsing safely, enhancing mobile security, and creating strong passwords.

All active Marquette faculty and staff can access the training online by logging in with their Marquette username and password. After you log in with your Marquette email address and password, click the “Information Security Awareness Course” button to access the first of four modules to be released throughout the year.

New content will be released quarterly and notifications will be sent by email from “Marquette University <system@litmos.com>” when new content is available. This course is required for all Marquette faculty and staff.

If you have questions about our new cybersecurity awareness platform, or if you want to report suspicious activities to IT, contact security@marquette.edu.
