Have you explored the cultural richness that Milwaukee’s north and south sides have to offer? Here’s a chance to learn more about the history and incredible assets of our unique city. Join Dr. Sergio Gonzalez, assistant professor of history, and Jon Parsons, Marquette University High School, as they bring their unique perspectives and expertise in a guided tour of these amazing communities. The experience will conclude with a convening in the AMU to share food and reflections on the tour.
Saturday, Oct. 23, beginning at 10 a.m. is the first of a special two-part series of tours exploring some of the wonderful assets of our neighboring communities in the City of Milwaukee free program. Details and registration available via Eventbrite.
This program is made possible by the Marquette University Student Government, the Center for Engagement and Inclusion, the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Service Learning, and the Office of Economic Engagement.
