Rev. Dan McDonald, S.J., and Dr. Rita O’Malley from the Midwest Jesuit Province will visit Marquette’s campus next week for their annual visit to discuss how the mission is lived in our everyday work.
They are scheduled to meet with the various members of the campus community on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and Wednesday, Sept. 8. In these conversations, they will discuss the Mission Priority Examen and how we understand our mission, establish goals for the future and set forth new or renewed means of realizing those goals in the years to come.
Other topics may focus on:
- Fostering discernment in our everyday work
- Ways in which we embody the characteristics of a Jesuit education
- Opportunities to collaborate with the Jesuit community
- Reflecting on positive expressions of the mission that emerged from the difficulties of the last year
- Celebrating the Ignatian Year on campus
