Marquette to end partnership with Virgin Pulse; new wellness program to launch in January

Marquette will not be renewing its contract with Virgin Pulse, and the university’s partnership with the wellness program provider will end on Thursday, Sept. 30. A new wellness program for employees, Marquee Health, will be launched in January. More information will be shared during Annual Benefits Enrollment in October.

What does this mean for you as a faculty or staff member?

  • You are still able to earn wellness points toward your 2022 FSA/HSA contribution through Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021. FSA/HSA rewards earned in 2021 will be applied to FSA/HSA accounts in January 2022. (Note: This is not a change nor the result of the nonrenewed contract.)
  • If you have any Pulse Cash, it must be redeemed by Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.
  • Your Virgin Pulse account will have limited access in October and will be deactivated effective Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.

We look forward to rolling out the Marquee program—we think you will find it an excellent addition to Marquette’s wellness offerings, part of the university’s total rewards.
