Per guidance from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Marquette encourages all students, faculty and staff to take the following COVID-19 precautious during Labor Day Weekend:
- Avoid unnecessary travel
- Get vaccinated
- Wear a mask
- Avoid indoor gatherings
- Stay home if you are sick
Wisconsin is seeing very high case activity due to the more contagious delta variant. The seven-day average of new confirmed COVID-19 cases is now 1,699 and cases continue to rise. DHS recommends that everyone, including fully vaccinated people, wear a mask indoors everywhere in Wisconsin because our entire state has substantial to high COVID-19 transmission.
